Weapons Detection Screening
Patrons will walk through weapons detection screening before entering the building for all events. For more information, please review the Weapons Detection Screening page.
Bag Policy and Bag Searches
Bags are subject to search. Bags or purses smaller than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ are allowed in the facility. Bags, backpacks, or purses larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ are not permitted.
Prohibited Items
The following items will be prohibited from the facility subject to event-based precautions:
- Outside food and drink (empty water bottles 32 fl. oz. or smaller are allowed)
- Alcohol, drugs
- Fireworks, explosives
- Guns, knives, cutting tools, tasers, or any other weapons – added prohibitions may apply
- *Note: Venue staff may prohibit any item deemed a safety hazard or security concern.
- Laser pointers, air horns, and noisemakers
- Helium balloons, signs, banners, and sticks
- Bicycles, roller blades, skates, skateboards, and hoverboards
- Video cameras, audio recorders, cameras with long or detachable lenses
- Bags, backpacks, or purses larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″

- Laptops and tablet computers are prohibited for all concerts and ticketed special events, though they may be admitted for some other events as determined by venue staff
- Google Glass, Meta Smart Glasses, Snapchat Spectacles, and similar devices
- Selfie sticks, monopods, tripods, and similar equipment

UF Campus-Wide Policy – Smoking and Tobacco Use Prohibited
Smoking and tobacco use are prohibited in all facilities and areas of the University of Florida campus. For the purposes of this policy, “tobacco use” means the personal use of any tobacco product, whether intended to be lit or not, which includes smoking, as well as the use of an electronic cigarette or any device intended to simulate smoking, and the use of smokeless tobacco, including snuff, chewing tobacco, smokeless pouches, any form of loose-leaf, smokeless tobacco, and the use of unlit cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco.
