Trey McLaughlin & the Sounds of Zamar have carved a name for themselves through soul-stirring arrangements of contemporary gospel, musical theater, and rich original compositions.
Formed in 2009 and now boasting millions of YouTube views, they have performed everywhere from church basements to international stages and alongside gospel greats such as William McDowell, Damien Sneed, and James Fortune. Please Note: To participate in this 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. workshop, you do not need to purchase a ticket. Simply arrive at the Phillips Center at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15th, 2020. No purchase necessary.

About the workshop:
From spiritual context to cultural, songs continue to be a powerful tool to transcend cultural boundaries and cause change. In this interactive singing workshop, Trey will teach his arrangements by rote, focusing on the nuances and intricate harmonies specific to the gospel music style.
The end of the workshop is reserved for Q&A with Trey and members of the Sounds of Zamar.
