Benjamin and Marilyn Barger were honored at UFPA’s Volunteer Appreciation Event May 21, 2008 at the Touchdown Terrace.
The Bargers volunteer as ushers for performances at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and the University Auditorium. Together they have volunteered a combined total of more than 800 hours of their time since July 2007. They have been volunteering as ushers for UFPA for more thanĀ 10 years, and this year they have been chosen as Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Volunteers of the Year for Arts and Culture.
