Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra cancels Feb. 24 Phillips Center performance

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra has cancelled its February 2013 tour to several Florida cities, including its previously scheduled Feb. 24 performance at the Phillips Center. Performances in Miami, Sarasota and West Palm Beach were also cancelled.

Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra president and CEO James Wilkinson announced that the tour deficit and the inability to acquire sponsorship made the tour impossible to perform.

Ticket refunds are available at point of purchase.
