New to UFPA this season, Specticast projects pre-recorded events on the Phillips Center Main Stage in HD quality.
“The Rolling Stones: Some Girls, Live in Texas ‘78,” is a rarely seen concert film featuring the classic British rock band at the height of their fame. The film was shot as part of the Rolling Stones’ 1978 U.S. tour, which is still hailed by many fans as their best to date. Capturing both the raw talent of the band and the excitement of the audience, the film is a testament to the power of live music and the Rolling Stones as true rock legends. This updated version of the film brings it into the 21st century, with re-mastered audio and carefully restored footage. The film also includes an interview with Sir Mick Jagger, filmed in 2011, discussing the band’s impact and providing an inside perspective on this exceptional film.
