A first-prize winner of the 2008-09 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, Bulgarian native Bella Hristova began playing the violin at the age of 6. In addition to this honor, the talented artist has also been awarded the Rhoda Walker Teagle Prize, the Ruth Laredo Memorial Award and the Mortimer Levitt Career Development Award for Women Artists.
