Operating in some format since the 14th Century, the Vienna Boys Choir was once enjoyed only by royalty.
Today, the choir resembles a travelling “united nations,” as its roster includes boys from more than 30 different countries. Still wearing the traditional sailor-style uniforms – the height of fashion in the 1920s when the choir became a public entity – the Vienna Boys Choir delights with their pure, ethereal vocals.
Off stage, the boys still know how to be boys, as evidenced by their 2008 appearance in a commercial for the European Football Championship.
You’ll like this show if you like children’s choirs, vocal performances and pure enthusiasm. This show is not for you if you are not a fan of vocal choirs or children’s performances.
