Hailed for his lyric musicianship, impeccable technique and varied musical interests that have made him an international sensation, Joshua Bell returns to University of Florida Performing Arts, this time with accomplished pianist Sam Haywood, a brilliant partnership that debuted to great critical acclaim.

With more than 35 recordings, Bell’s numerous awards, world tours and all-star collaborations have confirmed him as the most celebrated American violinist of the modern era. Most recently, Musical America awarded Joshua Bell 2010’s Instrumentalist of the Year and the New York Philharmonic named him a Member of the Board.

This engagement—which includes works by Brahms, Schubert and Grieg—is part of Bell’s 21-city tour with Haywood, a British pianist whose career is rapidly on the rise.
