- Canadian born Francesca Gagnon is one of the most recognizable voices in theater. From her roots in jazz, blues and chanson française, Francesca has earned herself the title of “modern realist singer.”
- Francesca’s destiny was set when she went on to tour the world with Cirque du Soleil, charming audiences and critics alike. Now, Francesca brings all the magic of Cirque du Soleil music to theatres and concert halls.
- In 1994 Francesca becomes the voice of Alegria’s soundtrack for Cirque du Soleil with her original voice. The album climbed to number one on U.S. Billboard charts as a World Music soundtrack and stayed there for 56 weeks.
- As a child, growing up in Quebec, Francesca already had musical inclinations. At the age of 10, she wanted to play piano and learn jazz ballet. However, a few years later while singing on stage, she realized her passion for performing. From there, her mission to become a singer and musician emerged.
