Glamour. Romance. Musical Fantasyland…THE OPERA SHOW presents beautiful music exquisitely performed in a spectacular and exuberant 21st century showcase.
Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical-comedy phenomenon takes you back to 1962 Baltimore, as 16-year-old Tracy Turnblad sets out to dance her way onto TV’s most popular show.
After an exciting debut at the Phillips Center in 2005 and a sold-out performance in 2006, the Soweto Gospel Choir returns to their “U.S. home” once again. The ensemble’s mix of tribal, traditional and popular African gospel makes for a moving, awe-inspiring and unforgettable evening for the entire family.

The 2009-2010 season marks the fourth U.S. Tour for the Israel Ballet, and the first in 25 years. The company was founded in 1967 by Berta Yampolsky and Hillel Markman, whom continue to be the artistic directors today.
The company is comprised of dancers from all over the world, among them native Israelis, new immigrants from the former Soviet Union and guests who have been selected by audition.
The Israel Ballet has a rich and varied repertoire and in addition to George Balanchine’s famous neo-classical works, they also perform the great classical and modern full-length ballets like The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Onegin, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote and Giselle.
The Israel Ballet’s greatest pride lies in the original works made for the company by its founder and Artistic Director, Berta Yampolsky. She has created and has received universal acclaim for more than 30 original ballets and for new productions of such classics as The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.
