Great show! I saw it in NY. Will the “sneak peek” be a preview of the whole show?

  2. David Alvarado says:

I’m wondering the same thing as Roxanne. Also is there anyway to know what creative artists will be there?

  3. Cathy Parlapiano says:

What a terrific show! I want to bring my whole family.

  4. girlgator1995 says:

Yes, the “Sneak Peek” will be a full-length performance of the musical.

  5. Jennifer Elliott says:

I was very impressed! I loved it! It was so entertaining and moving! the 2 ladies seated to my right were brought to tears several times…ok, I was close!

Thank you for bringing such a great show to the area- I look forward to seeing them on broadway!
I’m sure it will be a big success and there for many years to come- I feel honored to be one of the first to see it!

I also received a CD sountrack of “In the Heights” and listened to on my way home in the car!

  6. Jack and Linda Jenklins says:

In the Heights was the best road show we have had the pleasure of seeing at the Center. The scenery and the quality to the cast reminded us of many of the shows we have seen on Broadway. If you have a the touring schedule for the show, we would appreciate a copy. Thank you for bring an outstanding production to Gainesville.

  7. Dorothy Nevill says:

Wonderful show. Might have been better than the orginal cast in New York. Please bring in more “Sneak Peeks” It’s a wonderful use of our facility.

  8. chris and bernie machen says:

Fantastic performance. Had it all….terrific singing and dancing, humor and sadness. So many messages in one show. We saw it on Broadway a few weeks ago and this touring company is every bit as good.We came home and listened to the soundtrack while we worked in our office. Our hats are off to the UF Performing Arts Center!

  9. Bob Purcell says:

The show at the Phillips Center was fantastic. We saw the show on Broadway, and this was every bit as good and in some ways better than the original. It is great that Gainesville can attract this type of theatre.

  10. Lisa Bai says:

Great show! My daughter and I really enjoy it. I wish my whole my family was there.

  11. Sharon Stone says:

The show was excellent!!! The performers were so talented & their dancing & singing were so exciting to watch. The only negative comment that I have is that I was sitting in Row S Orchestra & at certain times I had a hard time hearing the conversations on stage.
It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Thank you for brining the show to Gainesville.

  12. david Young says:

The most innovative exciting musical that I’ve seen in years

The show was fantastic!!It was high energy and very entertaining. The dancers were fabulous and flawless. The singing was beautiful, even in the “rap”style. I truly enjoyed it and would recommend anyone seeing it.

  15. Mari says:

What an amazing show!!! I wish more of my friends would of been there! I plan on seeing it again when it starts touring! I got the soundtrack the same night! Such a wonderful show!

Great show! High energy and wonderful music. Thanks for bringing it to Gainesville.

  17. Ruth Johns says:

The whole experience was exciting for us. Meeting the creator of the play, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anna Louizos, the set designer pre-performance and hear their disscussion. The play was wonderful and full of energy, more like an opening night than a dress rehearsal. All involved were superb and I hope this is the first of many such “events.” Thanks Mr. Blachly et al and Bravo!

  18. Don says:

It was truly a joy to take In the Heights in! Shows of this caliber make the Performing Arts Center’s annual program a great success. Keep it up!!!

  19. Maggie Labarta says:

This was a great show! The music, the humor and the touching story was entertaining, engaging, and full of energy. Loved the blend of Spanish and English. Yeah, Michael etc!
