STOMP is explosive, provocative, sophisticated and unique, and appeals to audiences of all ages.  Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, the international percussion sensation has garnered an armful of awards and rave reviews, and has appeared on numerous national television shows.  The eight member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments - matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps - to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.  As USA Today says, “STOMP finds beautiful noises in the strangest places.”  STOMP.  See what all the noise is about.

Absolutely fabulous, never seen anything like it! This is a great contribution to the world of performing arts and indeed takes it to a whole new level. Great job!

  2. Evan Weber says:

Loved Stomp; 2nd time I’ve seen it @ Phillips Ctr. But did not love the very-young children who sat behind me who quite vocally discussed everything done on stage, even during the very quiet parts. The guy sitting next to me and I continually asked their father to please keep the conversations down. Did no good ’til toward the end when the children finally got tired and curled up in their seats.

  3. Ashley says:

Stomp was fun and exciting. I loved the comedy and the interaction with the audience.

  4. Sharon A. Smith says:

Thank you very much for bringing STOMP to Gainesville. My 15-year-old granddaughter & I greatly enjoyed the performance. The performers were very talented & displayed joy and exuberance while performing. Please keep bringing new and interesting shows to our area. Thanks again.

I bought the tickets for my 2 sons and dates who are all percussionists. They absolutly enjoyed their experience and 2 of them want to try out for Stomp one day!

  8. Ellen Andrews says:

I brought my daughter and her friend to this performance and we were all totally captivated. Everything they put their hands (not to mention other body parts) produced a rhythm. I can’t wait for them to return! Your ushers were very helpful and friendly, and answered all our questions, kudo’s to them!

  9. B. Morgan says:

We took our boys to see Stomp, They LOVED it. we all had a great time. Looking for more things to bring the boys too.

  10. Janice G says:

The show was just great. My boyfriend and I took his two teenagers and we all totally enjoyed this creative, dynamic, full-of-joy show. I appreciate that you sent emails about parking. People who, despite that, came late, were pretty distracting since they were seated during performances. Please continue to work on solutions. Halt the performance for seating??
