Renowned marimbist and first-place winner of the 2002 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, Naoko Takada began playing the marimba at age 8. Recognized for her creativity, she recently performed as soloist with the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra, Pensacola Symphony Orchestra and the Canton Symphony.
